Congratulations to Father Amer Kassar

We are delighted to report that Father Amer Kassar, one of the most dedicated teachers of our Ambassadors for Peace programme, has been honoured for his work with the honorific title of Monsignor.

Fr Amer is the priest of the Syriac Catholic Church of Our Lady of Fatima in Damascus.

The honour was bestowed at a Mass celebration presided over by His Eminence St. John Jihad Battah Al-Jazeel, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Damascus.

Our Middle East Coordinator, Miss Elza Nasra (pictured, left, with Fr Amer), participated in the ceremonial mass.
