Embrace Peace Hong Kong

This November, some of the Awareness Team were invited to go to Hong Kong to take part in the Embrace Peace 2018 celebrations. The Awareness Foundation was a special focus for this year's activities.
The day began with "Walk for Peace on Earth", beginning at St. John's Cathedral in Central.
This was followed by an Embrace peace T-shirt design contest, “Embrace Peace” Hong Kong Inter-Secondary School T-shirt Pattern Designer Competition which featured 20 designs in a catwalk show. We were very fortunate to have Walter Ma and Lulu Cheung, 2 leading fashion designers in Hong Kong, to judge!
In addition to the Peace Walk and the T-shirt competition, there were many other activities, including a brilliant exhibition of ballet, plus stalls, balloon-artists and much more.
We should like to thank Angel Hon and her amazing team, David Tse, The Very Revd Matthias Der, Dean of St. John's Cathedral, the many, many volunteers and all of the clergy and members of the Anglican Province of Hong Kong, whose tireless enthusiasm, dedication and kindness were without limits!
